he blends consciousness and dreams in castles
of marble words inlaid in smooth fields of love.
Merlin the Wizard caresses with embraces of sights,
his splintered voice erodes prejudices,
his splintered voice bewitches souls,
his splintered voice gently recommends your Eyes …
She persuades them To cream
the light of their Blue in diamonds
with the paper stage of a Victorian theatre,
house of sir William and his hearts flying in love of swallows
She persuades them To cream
the deep of the chasm in their Black
with the encouraging Universe
somber gentle father of the stars
She persuades them To cream
the fascinating storm in their Brown
with the elderly magnificent cupola
tailored in the emerald and opal of Sherwood
When you can fall for chains of silver you can fall for chains of gold
You can fall for pretty strangers and the promises they hold
You promised me everything you promised me thick and thin yeah
Now just say oh Romeo yeah you know I used to have a scene with him
